My home office is completely trashed and smells like cat ass. But i am lucky enough to be working from the Wall street office lately. Lucky, because the M9 bus on the corner runs fairly regularly and takes me pretty much door-to-door. Also, itz a pleasant trip through the LES and Chinatown, and I get to listen to my iPod....
Chinatown is an interesting thing, which i typically avoid. Mostly b/c, i mean hey, it just looks like therez way TOO MUCH activity going on around there for 745am on any given weekday morning, even for New York City. Or maybe itz just that i've become accustomed to the East Village where nothing is open before 11am... Anyway, in general, i don't like large crowds of pedestrians and i don't like fighting for sidewalk... This basically rules out Chinatown and Times Square. So I especially like viewing it from a bus, and on the way through... Anyway...
My Top Favorite Chinatown Business Names as Seen from the M9
- Nice Restaurant
- Dim Sum Go Go
- Unicorn Bakery
- Munchies Paradise
NYC Subway Commuter Tip #412
Affecting a chronic, deep phlegmatic cough with tuberculoid intimations can encourage other travelers to give you more space. Even during rush hours.
